Google Doodle brings back interactive game from 2016: Play with peppers and ice-cream

Google doodle featured an interactive throwback game, Scoville, on Monday to entertain people in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Scoville is part of the latest series that Google launched last week as it has been sharing throwback games that people can "Stay and play at home".

Today's Google doodle is in honour of Wilbur Scoville and was first published on January 22, 2016 to celebrate the pharmacist and researcher's 151st birthday. Born in Connecticut in 1865, Wilbur Scoville is acclaimed for his Organoleptic test which he invented in 1912 while working at the Parke-Davis pharmaceutical company.

The Organoleptic test measures the pungency or heat of several chilli peppers.
